Metal Degassing and Heating Unit

The metal degassing/heating unit is a stand alone station where the molten metal is degassed directly in the machine furnace. This dramatically reduces gas porosity and inclusions.

Furthermore, while the metal is degassed, the furnace is electrically powered, which allows the molten metal temperature to be sustained through two temperature controllers: one for the metal temperature, and one for the electrical heaters temperature.

By positioning one or two degassing/heating station per production line (4 to 8 casting machines), one can drastically decreases the down time of the machines due to metal refilling, since a furnace with metal is always on stand by.
